Dr. Mehmet Doğan Aşık is a scientist and faculty member at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He completed his undergraduate and doctoral studies in Turkey and conducted his postdoctoral research in the United States, focusing on biomaterials and drug delivery systems.
He is actively involved in the development of biomedical technologies with commercialization potential, guiding early-stage startups, and establishing strategic academia-industry collaborations. Combining his academic expertise with entrepreneurial experience, he mentors young researchers and entrepreneurs, helping them transform their technical knowledge and vision into innovation.
His goal is to accelerate the translation of innovative solutions developed in the laboratory into clinical and industrial applications.
