Ömer Çağrı Özdemir brings over 20 years of public sector experience into the entrepreneurship ecosystem as a Entrepreneurship & Finance Expert.
Since 2002, he has held various roles at KOSGEB, actively participating in EU-funded projects, financing programs, TEKMER initiatives, and venture capital investments. Currently, he serves as the Finance Director at KOSGEB, leading efforts in digital transformation, energy efficiency, and employment initiatives for SMEs through international collaborations and investment committee engagements.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from METU and pursued a Master’s in Science & Technology Policy Studies at METU. Later, supported by a Jean Monnet Scholarship, he completed a second Master’s in Entrepreneurship & Innovation at the University of Essex, UK.
In the VC Ally Mentor Network, Özdemir contributes his unique blend of public administration insight, investment acumen, and strategic growth experience. He supports entrepreneurs in financial sustainability, investment readiness, and scale strategies.
